Cached Exchange Mode was introduced in Outlook 2003 to give users a seamless online and offline Outlook experience. It also insulates users from network latency and connectivity issues while they are using Outlook.I have a user having problems with Outlook Cached mode.It seems that changes she makes to her inbox are not being made server side. When you configure an Outlook 2013 account to use Cached Exchange Mode, Outlook 2013 works from a local copy of a user's Microsoft Exchange mailbox that is stored in an offline data file (file) on the user's computer, together with the Offline Address Book (OAB).The cached mailbox and OAB are updated periodically from the Exchange Server computer.Email for the same account is updating routinely with no issues. But I don't have any clue why any addon should interfer with a periodic ajax request. I surfed for a solution even on Microsoft support sites, but it seems that no solution exists yet : ( It's definitely a really weird problem, cause it works in IE and chrome, and a support guy on an MS site claims that also works for him, with a fresh install of FF (which means he didn't install any add-ons).
